LOW but not SLOW – PulseJack ICMs under 10mm PCB height support 1Gigabit data rate

When equipment designers crave new, low height devices with more integration and connectivity options, this new PulseJack series from YAGEO Group are the answer.

Constructed using through hole, mid-mount technology and high temperature housings, the JXD1-102xNL sit 9.6mm off the PCB and incorporate the magnetics for Fast Ethernet (10/100Mbps) or 1Gigabit connections within the RJ45 socket providing them with a one-component solution. They can also survive IR Reflow up to 245oC peak temperatures, which help save production process time and operations.

The JXD1-1020/25NL are designed for 10/100Mbps data rats including many of the Industrial Ethernet protocols over a wide temperature range with an option for supporting 30W DC power feeding over the connecting CAT5 cable. The JXD1-1022NL offers 1Gigabit connectivity with backwards compatibility to the slower speeds under IEEE802.3 standard compliance and has a flexible schematic matched to link both voltage and current driven PHYs found in the market.
